Alice Cooper has revealed that Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl and Johnny Depp will be special guests on his new album 'Hollywood Vampires', which will be dedicated to "all the friends I lost to drugs and alcohol." The album is so named because in the 70s a group of friends, including John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Keith Moon and Ringo Starr, used to hang out with Alice to drink in Los Angeles.
Alice Cooper commented that the album is already finished and mixed and that she is very happy with the final results. «McCartney Dave Grohl, Brian Johnson participate, I cannot say which versions will be included, but to give you an idea, who were the Hollywood Vampires ?: John Lennon was, Jim Morrison too, we had Jimi Hendrix, Keith Moon, Marc Bolan, all those boys were vampires.
Meanwhile, Cooper has also written a new song called "All My Dead Drunk Friends" with Johnny Depp and producer Bob Ezrin for this album, which will be released this year with a date to be confirmed. Last year he released a new DVD called 'Raise The Dead - Live From Wacken', which takes the concert the vocalist gave at the classic German Wacken festival.
