"Heli" shows a bleak outlook at Cannes

Cannes begins its official section with what is probably the hardest vision of a director in this edition.

Or at least that is the feeling that the viewer who has attended the projection of «Heli»From the Mexican director Amat Escalante.

Little applause from the audience after viewing a film that has rather left an audience speechless that has been devastated by the harsh vision of a problem as big as the drug trafficking en Mexico City.

La only Spanish-speaking competitor of the official section has shocked both the public and the critics, creating a division of opinions, as many have not seen with good eyes the explicit violence that it shows.
