Trailer for 'Heidi'

h

Heidi is the new adaptation of the mythical character that became so famous with the anime series. It seems that the fashion for versions and remakes has also reached European cinema. Perhaps this is one of the least debatable due to the emotional component it has. We have that many adults have grown up with the character.

Starring  Bruno Ganz, Katharina Schüttler, Jella Haase, Anuk Steffen and Maxim Mehmet, the film has received the German cinema award for costumes and best children's film. And the truth is that the photograph also seems very beautiful.

This is the fifth adaptation of the children's book published in 1880. However, the character is known for that anime from the seventies that moved several generations. It seemed a pending issue to shoot in the Swiss mountains with current resources.

For the clueless, I leave here the synopsis of the film.

Heidi is a five year old orphan, raised by her grandfather in the Swiss mountains. One day her aunt Dete decides to take her to the city to educate her and take care of Klara, an invalid girl from a wealthy family. The sympathy of Heidi and her innocence will make her live new adventures in the company of Klara.

For fans of this character, or for those who have grown up with the character, I leave here an important date. The film will be released on August 6. We do not know very well if in all cinemas. I guess so.
