Harry Potter will have a theme park

Followers of the Harry Potter saga are in luck. Yesterday the newspaper The Times made public the news that Warner and Universal, after the approval of the creator of Harry Potter, JK Rowling, have kicked off the construction of the theme park based on the books of the young wizard.

It does not seem by chance that this news came to light two months after the publication of the seventh and last novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, since, between the still pending 6th and 7th cinematographic sequels and the news that arise from the advances of the theme park, we will not have time to forget the magician of yore.

One of the project sketches

The park is scheduled to open its doors in Orlando in 2009 and, among other things, you can walk through the Forbidden Forest and the streets of Hogsmeade, ride the Hogwarts Express and, of course, walk the corridors of Hogwarts, all of this. seasoned with a lot of magic and constantly passing characters from books and movies.

I am convinced that this project will pay substantial dividends to Rowling and those of Warner and Universal and will be a serious competition for Disneyworld, perhaps already a little out of date.

Let's hope that in the near future one of these parks will open in our old and beloved Europe, which looks very good and Orlando is still far away. Maybe in London?
