After the two successful installments of Sherlock Holmes, British director Guy Ritchie and Warner are in negotiations to start a franchise of six movies about King Arthur.

Ritchie himself had declared that he is interested in carrying out an adaptation for the big screen of the well-known Arthurian legends and although since he made these statements everything seemed to be a want and I can not, the truth is that in the end from Deadline they have confirmed that they intend to create this franchise.

Everything indicates that Joby Harold has already written the script for the first films and in terms of production it could be carried out by Akiya Goldsman, Tory Tunnel or Lionel Wigramm among others and it could be that filming began in the not too distant future.

Warner could be very interested in the production of this franchise after the success achieved with the two installments of Sherlock Holmes, although you also have to see the results of Ritche's latest work, The CIPOL Agent, inspired by a well-known television series by a few decades ago.
