In a recent interview, the Guns N 'Roses guitarist, Richard FortusHe dropped that the Californian band was working on some new things. Fortus was consulted during the group's last presentation of the Revolver Golden Gods Awards show in Los Angeles (USA) last weekend.
Fortus also added: “We hope to release new material soon, possibly next year. Soon we will all be together in Las Vegas, so hopefully we will be able to offer something new to our fans during that time. ". The band's fans, while hopeful, know that Californians take their time to compose. The band's upcoming performances will bring the bass player back Tommy stinson, who was temporarily replaced by founding bassist, Duff McKagan.
In October of 2012, Axl Rose assured that the next album of the band would not take fifteen years to be published, referring to the parenthesis that occurred between the release of The Spaghetti Incident? (1993) and Chinese democracy in 2008. Referring to this period of time, the vocalist stressed: "During those years I had to take care of many other things that were not related to the group but were related to the music industry".
