The Academy of Cinematographic Arts awarded the González Sinde Prize to the Solidarity Festival of Spanish Cinema of Cáceres.
Throughout these fifteen years the festival has met all the objectives set and especially the two that have become its hallmarks: the promotion of Spanish cinema (through screenings, books, magazines, workshops and conferences) and the donation of all the profits generated (collection in projections, box office of the charity awards ceremony and sale of catalogs) to different Extremadura NGO's.
