Mark Millar, one of those who wants to do the sequel to the film «Wanted», talks about what the second part will be, in which Angelina Jolie will not appear:
"They killed the most distinctive character, but then I thought they did the ideal thing," said Mark Millar. "They had enough balls to kill a person who was not expected to do so." There was also a discussion about filling the void with another interesting character: "What we are talking about is going down in history, but doing it properly," he said. «Just by putting another 'cool' character like this one, the world opens up with all the various fraternities that inhabit it. This could change at any time, but the last I heard two weeks ago was that it was the main plan for the future.
It seems that the original 'Wanted' differed drastically from Millar's source material. This is something philosophical about him: “This was my big dream as a child. So if movies are made of those things it would seem brilliant to me, and if they are great films, fantastic. I don't influence him much, as long as the movie is good. That is my criterion.
