Well yes, the Oscar-winning actor, Morgan Freeman, will star in and produce a film in which he will put himself in the shoes of, nothing and more and nothing less than the former South African president and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993, Nelson Mandela.
With a script based on the book by journalist John Carlin: «The Human Factor: Nelson Mandela and the Game that changed the world»The film will begin shooting in early 2008 on the first year of Mandela's presidency, focusing on the events surrounding the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa and how Mandela used the tournament to unite black and white.
The project is promising and… it is not because he is one of my favorite actors, but… if there is an actor to play this character, it cannot be other than Morgan Freeman.
