Rapper 50 Cent continues to convince Robert De Niro to be the star of their films: they already acted together in 2008's "Righteous Kill" and now they have reunited for this thriller called "Freelancers«, Co-starring Forest Whitaker and of which we can see the trailer here.
In the film, 50 Cent plays the son of a New York police officer who, with his two best friends, joins the Police Academy. After graduating, he is taken under the wing of his father's former partner - who has passed away - Captain Vic Sarcone (De Niro) and becomes part of the task force.
The film is directed by Jessy Terrero, who directed 50 Cent's "Soul Plane" and "Gun," and there is no release date as it will go directly to DVD.
