The members of this Scottish band prefer not to remember the eternal recording sessions of their second album, You Could Have It So Much Better: they got along much better while working on the third, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand.
"Making this last album was much more enjoyable than making the second one. I was sick of being asked 'did you feel the pressure of having to make a good second album after people liked the first one?'… Yeah .. stop asking me, damn it"Said the singer alex capranos.
"For the second album we had many ideas that each of us imposed on the songs, denying them the opportunity to 'evolve' on their own ... so now we try to return to the freedom that our first production had."Added the drummer Paul thomson.
