Franz Ferdinand released last Thursday (27) two new singles belonging to his next album 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action' which will be released by the Domino Records label on August 26 in Europe and the following day in the United States. The new album will be their first studio work in four years, since 'Tonight: Franz Ferdinand' (2009), and the fourth in the British group's career.
The new singles, 'Right Action' and 'Love Illumination', in fact they had already sounded in different live concerts, and now Franz Ferdinand presents them in the definitive studio versions. Both songs were produced by Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor, of the group Hot Chip, and mixed by Dave Fridmann. The songs were performed as a double-A single, and will be part of the ten tracks included in the next album.
Domino Records detailed about the new work: «The album was recorded over the last year in Alex Kapranos's studio (vocalist and guitarist) in Scotland, and in Nick McCarthy's studio (guitarist) in London. This new album consolidates the level of Franz Ferdinand like a unique British band and willing to risk ". The Kapranos band will arrive in Spain in September for performances in Ibiza and Mallorca, and then at the DCode Fest in Madrid.
