It reaches us the short film 'Cosmic Scrat-tastrophe' starring the famous squirrel Scrat and who is nothing more than a trailer for 'Ice Age: Collision Course', fifth installment of the 'Ice Age' saga that we know in Spain as 'The Ice Age'.
This short film, like the tape that will come to us later, is Directed by Mike Thurmeier and Galen T. Chu, who have already worked for the franchise, especially the first one who was co-director of the third and fourth installments.
As usual, this first advance is starring the hilarious squirrel Scrat, a character who has given us some of the best moments of this animated saga. The short film serves as the beginning of the film that will come to us next summer, since it explains the trigger that gives rise to the new story that will revolve around the fall of a meteorite on Earth.
Everything makes us think that this may be the last installment of the franchise Since the main theme seems to be the incident that ended life on Earth, we will have to see how they solve this in an animated film that must be remembered that it is aimed at the little ones.
