Films selected for the 2014 Las Palmas Film Festival

Mary Is Happy, Mary Is Happy

We already know the films that will participate in the new edition of Las Palmas Festival, which this year celebrates its 14ª edition.

The films in the Portuguese language stand out especially, up to three films are in this language, «Chestnut»By Davi Pretto,«É or Love»By Joao Canijo and«Sentimental education»By Júlio Bressane.

Only two films are in the Spanish language, «Letter to a parent»By Edgardo Cozarinsky and«Watch and Listen»By Jose Luis Torres Leiva and no Spanish film among those selected this year.

There is also a strong presence of documentary, up to four of the thirteen films selected this year for the Las Palmas Festival are documentaries, "Carta a un padre" by Edgardo cozarinsky, «Castanha» of Davi pretto, «É o Amor» by Joao canijo and «See and hear» from Jose Luis Torres Leiva placeholder image.
