The 48 are already known films selected for the 2009 European Film Awards and, among them, there are three Spanish films.
The three selected Spanish films are Return to Hansala by Chus Gutiérrez, Camino by Javier Fesser and Los Abrazos rotos by Pedro Almodóvar.
Among the other nominees, films such as Antichrist from Denmark, Brothers from Switzerland, Coco Avant Chanel from France, The White Ribben from Germany and Looking for Eric from Great Britain, among others, stand out. To see the full list of selected movies, click here.
Over the next few weeks, the 2.000 members of the European Film Academy will vote for the nominations in the different categories, which will be announced on November 7 at the Seville European Film Festival.
