Fernando Tejero premieres black comedy: «The suicide club»

This Friday, 24 August, we will have Fernando Tejero back on the big screen, this time it will bring us something new, a black comedy that is titled The suicide club based on a short story by Robert Louis Stevenson, but set in XNUMXst century Madrid, rather than XNUMXth century London.

The argument is most peculiar: A group of people who meet in therapy to help suicides, decide to ride the suicide club, a secret club, which aims to help its members take their own lives in a way that, in principle, appears to be easier than suicide: by killing each other. Later, after several meetings of their club, they will discover that what seemed easy, is not so easy.

Although at first it seems that comedy may suggest that it encourages people to create the idea that the only way out of problems is to choose the path of suicide, it is a film that seeks the opposite, seeks to give light of hope to your viewers or remind them that that light exists, and show them that there are always good reasons to live for.
