«Fantastic Mr. Fox», last film made with the Stop-motion technique

A few weeks ago the animated film was released in our country "Fantastic Mr. Fox", based on the book "El Superzorro", by Roald Dahl, whose main characteristic is that it is made using the Stop Motion technique, that is, giving movement by recording frame by frame.

The inventor of this technique was Willis O'brien to whom we owe the mythical King Kong of 1933 and the beasts of The Lost World of 1925.

Another prominent film whose visual effects were made using this technique was Clash of the Titans, from 1981, whose remake we just saw in theaters recently.

However, this technique was brought back to life with Tim Burton's productions The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) and Corpse Bride (2005).

Finally, note that film «Fantastic Mr. Fox» It has been a complete fiasco at the Spanish box office.
