Failure to premiere as director of Angelina Jolie

There have been no more than 40 people who attended the premiere of Angelina Jolie as director in the first presentations of In the land of blood and honey, as many Serbs consider that the film only offers a vision on the war of Bosnia.

From the newspaper Blic it was reported that the first screening of the film in one of the Belgrade cinemas was attended by only 12 people and of that number three left the theater before the end of the film. Around 30 people were in another room in the city, but half of them had received free tickets.

The regional premiere was in Sarajevo on the 13th and was attended by Jolie in front of more than 5.000 people on a large sports field in the Bosnian capital but still it seems that he did not end up liking the film too much.

For her part, the actress and director, declared that she considers it necessary to intervene in violent conflicts such as the Bosnian war in the XNUMXs or currently in Syria. He wanted to make it clear that this film has nothing to do with politics but is an attempt to raise international awareness.
