The news of the departure of Christopher Owens from Girls has been one of the most surprising of the year, since he was considered the soul of the formation, if not almost a project around his figure. But no. Christopher Owens' real personal project is Christopher Owens and with him he will edit his solo album, 'Lysandre', in the next year, concretely next January 15.
At the moment, two songs in one can be heard on Soundcloud, 'Lysandre's Theme' and 'Here We Go', of which we assume that the first is a kind of intro. Without giving up the electric guitar, it seems that the sound will pull more for the precious pop from the late 60s (The Free Design, etc.). The album tells the story of a journey and a romance: Owens falls in love with a girl named Lysandre. This will be the album's tracklist:
- Lysandre's Theme
- Here We Go
- New York City
- A broken heart
- Here We Go Again
- Riviera rock
- Love Is in the Ear of the Listener
- Lysander
- Everywhere You Know
- Closing Theme
- Part of Me (Lysandre's Epilogue)
