A Spanish horror movie opens this Friday, in the best sense of the word. Following in the wake of productions such as Los Otros and The orphanage, comes «Eskalofrío», a disturbing story that promises to give more than a scare at the box office this week.
Spanish horror cinema is having a good time. Good films are made with more imagination than budget, and whose results are excellent - ask Juan Antonio Bayona if not. In this style of movies is Eskalofrío, a disturbing story of a boy with a disease of allergy to the sun, -there he repeats the argument with The Others-, who goes to the mountains to a town, together with his mother. A series of deaths then begin to occur, whose main suspect is our protagonist, Santi, (Junio Valverde).
Filmed in Asturias, - again the stages of northern Spain give a "fantastic" touch to horror films - it promises to be one of the blockbusters in Spanish cinema this second semester.
