The well-known British duo Erasure released this week his new album called 'Snow Globe' (Snowball), an album that contains a mix of original songs by the duo and covers of different Christmas classics. Released by Mute Records, the new 'Snow Globe' represents the British duo's fifteenth album and the first since their last album 'Tomorrow's World' in 2011.
'Snow Globe' was co-produced by the duo with their traditional producer, the British Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Mesh, Nick Cave…), and mixed by English producer Richard X (Goldfrapp, Will Young, Pet Shop Boys…). The album contains a total of thirteen songs of which eight are versions of Christmas carols and the remaining five are new singles from the duo: 'Bells of Love (Isabelle's of Love)', 'Make It Wonderful', 'Loving Man', ' Blood on the Snow 'and' There'll Be No Tomorrow '.
The first single from Erasure's new album, 'Gaudete', was released on October 28, an own version of the traditional 1973th century Latin Christmas carol, which was popularized in 3 by the English folk group 'Steeleye Span'. The video clip that accompanied the single was made in stop-motion animation by the same animators who collaborated with Tim Burton on the film 'Nightmare Before Christmas'. 'Snow Globe' has been released in different formats: standard CD, in digital version for download, and a limited edition of XNUMX CDs that includes the original album, an album with alternative versions.
