'The Marshall Mathers LP 2', the new album of the rap icon Eminem, is the best-selling album in the United States in this last week (to November 10), debuting at the top of the 'Billboard 200' chart and reaching a total of almost 800 thousand copies in the first week of its release .
Eminem's new work has managed to position itself as the second biggest release of the year to date. The best release so far this year has been the new album by Justin Timberlake , 'The 20/20 Experience', which has managed to sell a total of 968 thousand copies in the first week of its edition last March. 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' also managed to break records in reproductions via streaming, as the music platform Spotify announced that the album reached close to 10 million reproductions during its launch week.
Also these days Eminem has managed to establish himself as the first artist in nearly half a century to enter four songs simultaneously into the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100's chart, a feat that had not been accomplished since the Beatles in May 1964.
