With the performances of Tan Bionica and Love of Lesbians, Emerging City it premiered its fourth edition yesterday. As we anticipated previously, today the Argentines will be musicalizing the afternoon alvy singer big band while Leonchalon (photo) will be in charge of closing the evening. On the other hand, 15 minutes before 20 p.m., the French quartet Miss K will represent the Gallic country at the festival, on the stage set up on the Terrace. The weather is not very good, but let's hope that the threat of the gray sky remains only in that, and does not turn into rain.
Throughout the day, there will be almost a dozen concerts to see, and you will be able to tour the halls and halls of the Recoleta Cultural Center (Junín 1930), where do they wait samples, spaces to listen to records, and other galleries linked to street and digital art (of which we will comment shortly).
Also opens today on microcinema of the Cultural Center, on the first floor, where they will be screened Prima Donna - The Story Of An Opera (16 hours), a documentary that records the backstage of Prima Donna, the debut opera of Rufus Wainwright; Eels with Strings (18 pm), tape dedicated to Eels and the figure of its leader, Mark Oliver Everett (We note that it will be given in English, without subtitles); and ending, at 20, Argentina What are you now ?, a documentary about Small Repeat Orchestra, of which it is not necessary to make great clarifications.
