In 2007, the Brazilian film surprised by its quality "Elite troop", directed by José Padilha and dealing with police corruption that is in charge of policing the dangerous Brazilian favelas.
In addition, it achieved the Berlin Golden Bear for its magnificent quality. I have seen the movie and I recommend you to watch it because it is very good and realistic. What I did not expect that a second part of this film would be made but, seeing the success it had around the world, they will have thought why not do a second part, as the Americans do, and get an extra slice of this story.
The synopsis of "Elite Troop 2" is:
Nascimento (Wagner Moura) faces the militias, a new problem that has plagued Rio de Janeiro. It does not take long to have clashes with the system that controls the state, balancing the challenge of pacifying the city and taking care of Rafael (Peter Van Held), his teenage son, and Rosane (Maria Ribeiro), his wife. At his side he has the support of Matías (André Ramiro), chosen to replace him in the BOPE.
