Edurne presents the symphonic version of «Amanecer»

Edurne

Since RTVE released the song with which Edurne will represent Spain in the next festival of Eurovision, 'Amanecer', the critics, good and bad, have not stopped raining, the song and the artist. So much hype did from RTVE to the song, to everything epic that was going to sound and to the video clip, that when it was discovered, there were many who were so cold. The lyrics sounded -and it sounds- like a translation made in five minutes and the melody, although good, ended up being repetitive. The video clip, yes, it was a real nonsense, and this is said by a fan of Edurne.

Then it was time to present it live. Edurne is a live animal, but in the first presentation of 'Sunrise', in the program 'Alaska y Segura', -maybe due to nerves- he had the misfortune of repeatedly going out of tune, thus causing distrust of the festival to grow. Anyway, in the case of Eurovision, it is not necessary to go too far to remember all the support that Chiquilicuatre received. Yes, when we want, in Spain we have a lot of joke and very bad taste.

Now it is the turn of the symphonic version of 'Amanecer', a version that Edurne he recorded with the RTVE Orchestra and Choir for the occasion of its 50th anniversary. From my point of view, this was a version that was very much needed, since the orchestra could give the song all that epicity that it did not have in its original version. My opinion, after listening to it, is that this would be the ideal version to take to the festival. What do you think?
