The premiere in Spain of "Do not blame karma for what happens to you as an asshole" is next November 11. But Sony Pictures has already advanced the first trailer of this adaptation to the big screen of the novel of the same name by Laura Norton
The film stars the three-time nominee for Goya Verónica Echegui, while María Ripoll («Now or never», which last year raised more than 8 million euros) goes behind the scenes.
In the plot, Sara (Verónica Echegui) is a young girl who, tired of her life, decides to embark on the adventure of becoming a feather pen. To do this he reopens his grandmother's shop and begins to make curious and exotic headdresses and accessories based on feathers. Although he is not very successful, he is defending his business in the best way.
Everything that she is achieving is convulsed when, during the same week, her depressed and recently separated father, her boyfriend who she has not seen for a year because he was in Paris and her sister Lu with her current fiance who , thanks to those winks of fate, it is her old high school crush, Aaron.
Regarding the cast, María Ripoll has chosen a cast of actors made up of Jordi Sánchez, Elvira Mínguez, Alba Galocha, Álex García, Cecilia Freire and David Verdaguer, among others. Carlos Montero (Combustion) and Breixo Corral (Three too many weddings).
