Finally, 81 countries and not 76 will participate in the Oscar preselection for best film in a non-English language after last-minute additions.
In the last moment six more countries have been presented as they are Algeria, Australia, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
There have also been last minute changes, finally Panama does not appear for the preselection despite having previously announced that 'Caja 25' by Mercedes Arias and Delfina Vidal would be the film that would seek the Oscar nomination and China finally does not go with Jean-Jacques Annaud's film 'The Last Wolf' ('Wolf Totem'), but with Han Yan's 'Go Away Mr. Tumor'.
