Death Sentence is the new film by James Wan, the director of the first Saw. Perhaps that is why this title is creating certain expectations among fans of the fantasy genre even though the plot has nothing to do with it.
Kevin Bacon plays a hatred-stricken father who will seek out those responsible for his son's death to avenge himself. Simple and straightforward argument for Mr. Bacon to show that somewhat dark side that he has and unleash his most violent part (interpretively speaking, it is understood). In the cast we also find Kelly Preston and John Goodman. Next August it opens in the USA.
