Earlier this month (May) Joel Thomas Zimmerman, the Canadian DJ and producer better known as Deadmau5, anticipated to his followers that the wait for his new album would be worth it. From his Twitter account the DJ stated: "I know the album release date has been quite late, but after you hear the next sneak peek, you will realize it was worth the wait.".
The news came last week when the Canadian DJ released a preview of the new single 'Avaritia' through the online platform Soundcloud. Deadmau5 also released more details about the new album, which will be called 'While (1 <2)', will contain a total of 25 songs and will be available for digital download format on June 17, and in physical format on June 23 through the mau5trap and Virgin / Emi Records labels.
About this new material Deadmau5 detailed: “It's a good mix of things that I wanted to do with others that my fans want to hear or expect from my music. The final sound is a good balance between the two. It doesn't sound like something totally different.
