David Gilmour: "Pink Floyd Will Not Meet"

David Gilmour

After the band he formed was awarded the Polar Award a few days ago, the guitarist David Gilmour spoke of the expected meeting of the Pink Floyd: He said flatly that it will not happen.

In declarations for the string Associated Press, gilmour, who will release a solo album this month called Live In Gdańsk, said that despite the concert they offered at the Live 8 of the 2005, "the rehearsals were unpleasant and it was precisely these that convinced him that it is something he does not want to do again".

"There have been many separations and dismissals in the musical careers of the groups, which have then been canceled to meet again, but right now I think I can say categorically that there will not be a tour or a new Pink Floyd album in which I will take part. It has nothing to do with desire or mood. It's just that I've already gone through that stage"He explained.
