Recently the actor has given life to the homosexual poet Allen Ginsberg in "Kill Your Darlings" and now he will take on the role of the legendary singer of "Queen»Freddy Mercury.
In the beginning it was going to be Sacha Baron Cohen who will play Mercury, an actor who bears a great physical resemblance to the late singer, but creative differences together with the other former members of the band "Queen" they have had this choice rejected.
Apparently to Brian May y Roger taylor, guitarist and drummer for Queen, it seemed to them that a tape interpreted by Sacha Baron Cohen would have a touch of humor that is not what they want for the film, which they want to be a more familiar approach to the deceased member of what was his band.
Finally it will be Daniel Radcliffe who plays Freddy Mercury in the biopic that is being prepared from him, who apparently is liked by the producers since he is more similar in height to the singer than Sacha Baron Cohen and who can also sing.
