For film lovers of dancers, like me, we cannot miss «Dance flick«. New film by Damian Wayans, with Marlon Wayans, Amy Sendaris, Shawn Wayans (he's brought the whole family inside ...), Essence Atkins, David Alan Grier, keene Ivory Wayans, Chris Elliott, Christina Murphy, Ross Thomas, and Kim Wayans in the cast.
The story is simple, and repeating itself! Street dance dancer named Thomas Uncles (played by Damon wayans), has the facility to go wrong directions in his life. But he meets Megan White (played by Shoshana bush), a beautiful young woman who is passionate about classical dance. The two will be united by their passion for dance (and other things as well), and will put themselves to the test in the biggest of dance competitions.
I know, and I also know that we have already seen this story. On "Passion and dance«, In the other that has Jéssica Alba as the protagonist, and surely in many more. It never ceases to fascinate me to see dancing on the screen. And let's agree that, as fun as it is, montage usually helps them more than it should. But it is still a genre in the style of cheerleading movies. You can't get mad at those things. Likewise, it can be said that the film is by the same creators of the various «S«. So at least this new movie will have as a novelty the fact of parody many of the serious dance films.
