Daft Punk Releases 'Get Lucky', One Of The Most Anticipated Singles Of 2013

Finally, last Thursday came 'Get Lucky', the new single from the French duo Daft Punk. 'Get Lucky' is the first cut of his next and long-awaited work, 'Random Access Memories', which promises to be one of the albums of the year. Last week the audience of the Coachella festival exploded when they saw on the mega screens of the event a preview of the single in which you could see the legend of disco-funk, Nile Rogers, and the rapper Pharrell Williams, along with the French in almost a minute and a half of his new 'Get Lucky'.

So far it seems that the return of Daft Punk with 'Random Access Memories' It will be big, and this is being demonstrated by his new record company, Columbia, by running an advertising campaign that looks like a masterpiece of the promotional teaser (advance). At the level of a Hollywood blockbuster release, the new Daft Punk album is featuring a huge graphic campaign, television spots and a series of mini-documentaries (The Collaborators), which tells the experience of the album's production process. The campaign undoubtedly seeks to reposition the duo in the market after the commercial setback of their previous album 'Human After All' (2005) and the disappointing soundtrack of Tron (2010).

'Random Access Memories' will be released this coming May 21 and you can pre-order it for digital download. Since yesterday (18) the radio edit version of 'Get Lucky' it is available for download on iTunes and also on Amazon.com (US).
