Crocodiles know how to jump too

Primeval (it can be "Primitivo" or "Crocodile. A serial killer" in Spanish) is the new film by director Michael Katleman, with extensive experience directing series such as Taken, Dark Angel, Dawson's Creek, ER and The X Files , among others. The plot focuses on the realization of a journalistic work, about a crocodile that has claimed hundreds of victims in Africa.
Its beginning is a bit loose, and somewhat confusing, although then the plot takes an interesting turn, because the film with the total intention of being an action film, gets some political nuances, by portraying the Hutu and Tutsi conflict in a couple of minutes which took so many lives on the continent where life is supposed to begin, specifically in Rouenda and Burundi; adding, to the complicated task of catching a giant reptile, the fact of surviving the political conflicts in Africa.
After the house of the gigantic crocodile, who sometimes looks like a perfect dinosaur, Aviva (Brooke Langton), a beautiful reporter interested in doing a good job, Tim (Dominic Purcell of Prison Brake) a producer in distress and his cameraman Steve ( Orlando Jones). Later he is joined by other companions, and a couple of criminals, with little relevance.
The film has very good photography and spectacular images of the African savannah, it also fulfills its role as an action film. Of course, some trite lines could be improved already, which make the film become predictable from time to time.
It is easy to know who will be left alive at the end, although it is worth finding out live (from the cinema seat) how characters are falling into the hands of "Gustave" the crocodile.
My recomendation: If you are one of those who like to guess what will happen in the movie, you will not be surprised with Primeval.
