It does not surprise me that movie What Happened to the Morgans? there is failure in the USA because it is a very lazy comedy.
La comedy What Happened to the Morgans? It shows no originality and, on top of that, it repeats too many clichés from the comedies of broken couples that, in the end, come together again.
This time we are faced with a couple in separation proceedings who, upon witnessing a crime, are sent to a town in the western United States by the witness protection agency.
There, in a town of just over a hundred inhabitants, they will have enough time to talk and forgive each other. At the same time, in just a couple of days, they will make friends with almost the entire town as if they have been living there for months.
To make matters worse, the scene when they catch the murderer who is looking for them is to piss and not take a drop of pathetic that it is.
As for the leading couple of the film, Hugh Grant, he returns to repeat the usual role: a posh, shy and snobbish man, who gave such good results in films such as Four Weddings and a Funeral. On the other hand, Sarah Jessica Parker does not stand out except to show that, without makeup, she does not have anything of glamor and is a rather physically unattractive actress.
