The zombie film subgenre is already very worn out but, very from time to time, there are pleasant surprises, with a certain degree of originality such as the Spanish "REC" or last year, the French "The Horde".
In addition, the building and the stairs of the same that appear in "La Horde" are very reminiscent of "REC".
The film "La Horde" places us before a group of four policemen who go to an abandoned building to try to avenge the death of a colleague and friend by some criminals who hide in it. However, when the police are reduced by the criminals, they begin to hear some noises outside, coming from the city. Without giving any explanation, the city is being ravaged by corpses that have been brought back to life by a strange virus. In this way, the policemen and criminals will have to unite to fight against the zombies ...
All of this will lead to scenes full of blood and gore, not suitable for soft stomachs.
Without a doubt, quite entertaining.
