Criticism of the film "Bruno": I can't find it funny

bruno1

Bruno, the third film by the English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, after Ali G and Borat, is not having the expected success neither in the USA nor the rest of the world.

I am almost certain that in its second week in theaters it will lose more than 50% of takings because the film is very weak and has little grace. Although we cannot speak of failure either because the film will not have cost much to make, except for the 40 million dollars that the actor is rumored to have charged for making this new film with one of his characters (Bruno).

Bruno brings us closer to this character, an Austrian and gay fashion journalist who goes to Hollywood with the pretense of becoming a star, who in an almost documentary way shows us his crazy attempts to become famous: doing a fashion talk show ( where he even shows his penis), joining the army, going with some hunters to the Brouke Mountain-style hunting forest, etc.

The only scene that has caused me to smile are the sex scenes, at the beginning of the film, which she has with her half-dwarf boyfriend, although I don't know how they haven't been censored in the USA with the Puritans who are about sex.

In case it is not clear, the humor that is distilled in Bruno It is not in my interest and I think it will not go with that of the general public either.
