Here we have the First trailer for Will Smith's new movie 'Concussion', directed by Peter Landesman.
The one who gave life to the Prince of Bel-Air returns to its most dramatic register, something that has not given him bad results in the past, as in 'Ali' which gave him his first Oscar nomination for best actor in 2002 or in 'In pursuit of happiness' ('The Pursuit of Happyness') where he got the second in the same category. 'Concussion 'could be worth the third nomination for the Hollywood Academy Awards.
Based on real events, 'Concussion' tells the story of the nForensic Europathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu and his fight with the NFL, the American football league, in its endeavor to demonstrate its discovery, that it was none other than the post concussion syndrome, a condition that led to the suicide of at least two stars of the sport, Dave Duerson and Junior Seau. The NFL obviously disagreed that playing the sport and recurring blows to the heads of players could lead to them committing suicide.
Together with Will Smith we can see Gugu Mbatha-Raw, one of the sensations of last year with his performance in 'Belle', the famous Alec Baldwin and Albert Brooks and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, whom we will see with Will Smith in 'Suicide Squad'. Behind the scenes is Peter Landesman, who debuted just two years ago with 'Parkland'.
