Coldplay has just released 'Atlas', his ballad for the cinema

In early August, the British group Coldplay announced that they would soon present a new theme called 'Atlas', which would be included in the soundtrack of the film 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire', to be released on November 22, 2013. Finally last Friday (6) Coldplay released the new single, an intimate ballad that marks the debut of Coldplay on film soundtrack productions, and also their first album since the release of the hit album 'Mylo Xyloto' in 2011.

Francis Lawrence, director of the film, expressed the great respect and admiration he feels for Coldplay and was enthusiastic about the connection they have made musically with the theme of the film. The passion and enthusiasm that Coldplay has put into the project was remarkable according to Lawrence and he was also eager to show this work to the public.

'Atlas' was produced by the Coldplay with the collaboration of Daniel Green and Rik Simpson (Rikademus) and is the song that will lead the soundtrack of the next film by 'The Hunger Games', and so far the first confirmed performer for the album that will accompany the premiere of the long-awaited film. It should be remembered that the first installment of this saga featured an important list of groups and artists, including Maroon 5, Arcade Fire and Birdy.
