Take That, Coldplay, Pet Shop Boys, U2, Kings of Leon, and Duffy among others will perform at the Brits Awards ceremony on February 18 at Earl's Court in London.
Coldplay and Duffy (whom we have listened to in Spain especially for his song Merçi) are the favorites with four nominations each. Among them, Coldplay opts for the award for best album for Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, in addition to best single and best live performance.
The nominations for best international album and best international group are for the legendary AC / DC, the established The Killers, Kings of Leon, Fleet Foxes and MGMT. Other top nominees are Elbow, Scouting For Girls, and Adele.
Returning to Coldplay, this concert recorded for the BBC in London (which we have already seen several times on Spanish television) is one of the band's credentials to be recognized as the best British live band.
