Trailer of Cold Sweat, psychological terror made in Argentina

Genre cinema in Argentina has always been limited, and very few established directors are encouraged. Productions of this type seem to be confined to a handful of local producers who are slowly making their way through good ideas and talent, in the absence of large budgets.

This is the case of Cold sweat, the film of Adrian Garcia Bogliano (head of the producer Paura Flics and director of the glorious Rooms for tourists) that was released a few weeks ago in the cinemas of Argentina. With a young cast that has a Facundo Espinosa, Marina Glezer and Camila Velasco As the leading trident, Sudor Frío reached the commercial circuit jointly financed by Paura Flics and Pampa Films, but maintaining the spirit of Bogliano and co. styled in their independent films.

The story centers on the search for a young man (Facundo Espinosa) who is desperately looking for his girlfriend (Camila Velasco). Accompanied by a faithful friend (Marina Glezer) who does not leave him for a second, the clues lead him to a gloomy mansion inhabited by two old men. They will soon realize that the owners of the house are actually ruthless murderers, who have kidnapped the missing girlfriend. The problem is that they too are trapped inside, along with several kilos of dynamite, which the men use sadistically. With state terrorism as a backdrop (the old men are former agents of the infamous Triple A), Cold sweat displays all the classic seasonings of the horror genre, infused with the absurd humor that characterizes Paura Flics productions.

Despite having a larger infrastructure with which the Paura team had been working, the film was filmed in an old house in just over 2 weeks, with a tight schedule that did not allow adding more shooting days than those stipulated.
