'This is how we are' tells the story of a businessman, Sam (Chris Pine), who must return home for his father's funeral. Now, Sam must regain contact with his estranged family. As they get to know each other, Sam will be forced to rethink everything he thought he knew about his family and rethink the decisions he has made in his life.
About 'This is how we are', the critics have said that it is full of clichés, and it certainly is. But it is also true that the good work of the interpretive staff and the pleasantness of the plot, saves the tape notably. A plot that Kurtzman himself has confessed to drinking from autobiographical material to tell a small and painful family story.
