Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson y Amanda Seyfried. What more could you want? Much safer, but for me, this cast is perfect for Atom Egoyan's new thriller, and produced (executive) by StudioCanal.
"Chloe", named after its protagonist, has Julianne Moore as a successful doctor who suspects an infidelity on the part of her husband, played by Lian Neeson. And what would any woman do when faced with such a suspicion? Obviously, he hires a companion lady, played by Amanda Seyfried, with the sole objective of seducing the man, and thus catch him red-handed. The problem will be when the interests become extremist, and the darkest humanity of each comes into play, putting the integrity of the family at stake, and everything.
We have already seen the latest performances of these three leading actors. Moore in La Ceguera, Neeson in Lincoln, and young Amanda in Mamma Mia !. We can say that it is not a disreputable cast, but quite the opposite. Question of seeing how they stop in this, a story many times told.
The film will be shot next February, in Canadian locations, specifically in Toronto. The script was written by Erin Cressida Wilson, and will be directed by the already named Atom Egoyan. It has been produced by Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollok.
