Trailer for 'Beasts of No Nation' by Cary Joji Fukunaga

After directing each and every episode of the first season of the great television series 'True Detective', Cary Joji Fukunaga returns to feature film with 'Bests of No Nation'.

The film is about adaptation of the homonymous novel by Uzodinma Iweala which was published in 2005 when he was only 22 years old.

Beasts of No Nation

'Beasts of No Nation' is about a drama based on the experiences of Agu, a child soldier who participated in a civil war which took place in an unnamed African city.

He is in charge of both the direction and the adaptation of the script. the already mentioned Cary Joji Fukunaga winner of an Emmy Award for best direction for 'True Detective' and responsible for films such as the Mexican 'Sin nombre' or the British 'Jane Eyre'.

They star in 'Beasts of No Nation, the winner of the Golden Globe Idris Elba and the young debutante Abraham Attachah, accompanied in the cast by little-known faces like those of Richard Pepple, Opeyemi Fagbohungbe, Ama K. Abebrese, Grace Nortey and David Dontoh.

The film will be present at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival in what will be its preview, since the film does not open in the United States until October 16, 2015, yes, simultaneously in theaters and on Netflix.
