As it was known, "Cars 2" has become No. 1 at the box office in Spain, and has done so with a collection of 2,43 million euros which, added to the revenues since its premiere on Wednesday, make a total of 3,5 million. With this collection, it meets expectations but will not exceed 12 million collection in cinemas in Spain.
The next highest grossing spots are held by "Bad Teacher" with 1,2 million, "Transformers 3" with 1,08 million, "Hangover 2" with € 620.000 and "Kung Fu Panda 2" with € 410.000.
It should also be noted that in the top ten there are three films with Spanish production: "Amigos ...", "Midnight in Paris" and "A Chinese tale".
