Disclosure's "Caracal" Finally Available

Disclosure Caracal

The wait is over. Last Friday the highly anticipated second album by Disclosure, 'Caracal'. Although the wait - let's be honest - it was not so long, since the brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence have pampered us to the maximum, advancing almost half of the album since they released the first single, 'Holding On', last month of May.

Some suspected that after having brought us the collaborations with Sam Smith, Gregory Porter, Kwabs or Lion Babe, the Lawrence brothers could have revealed too much of 'Caracal', leaving the worst of the album to be discovered, but nothing is further from the truth. . In fact, the day before the premiere they also revealed one of the collaborations that created the most expectation, that of Lorde, on the song 'Magnets', another mid-tempo that ends up brimming with personality thanks to the Lawrence-Lorde tandem.

A 'Caracal' does not have any of the 11 songs -14 in its deluxe version- that make up his tracklist. You will start it by dancing and you will end it by dancing in repeat mode until the body endures. It is time to make a special mention of the great song that opens the album, 'Nocturnal', in collaboration with The Weeknd. For me, one of the best collaborations of the whole album… and they have all been magnificent.
