The official section of the 67th edition of the Cannes Film Festival with the screening of the last two films in competition «Clouds of Sils Maria" Y "Leviathan«.
Both films have been very successful in the contest and are two of those that could end up being awarded.
On the one hand Olivier Assayas has presented his new work "Clouds of Sils Maria", a film that has been valued as one of the best films of this edition and which has highlighted the work of its two protagonists, Juliette Binoche y Kristen Stewart. A pleasant surprise was the performance of the young actress, who could even aspire to the award for best female performer.
The other film in competition, "Leviathan" by Andrey Zvyagintsev also amazed the attendees. The Russian film should not go without an award from the Cannes Festival, although given the high level this year it seems that it will be very close. Perhaps it is his excellent script that ends up being awarded at the French competition.
With these two films the section of a Cannes film festival very prominent in which they have only disappointed "Captives" by Atom Egoyan and "The Search" by Michel Hazanvicius, as well as the opening film "Grace of Monaco".
