The awarded California dreamin ' reaches our screens, after receiving an award at the last Cannes Film Festival.
It is the first and last film by director Christian Nemescu, who died in an accident during the post-production editing time of his work. In his native country, Romania, the work bears the title "Unfinished", since the young Nemescu, was 27 years old when he died, he could not see how it received good reviews and several awards in a festival as prestigious as that of Cannes.
The story is a comedy that focuses on the year 1999. In that summer, the Kosovo war is about to end, and a train with a cargo belonging to NATO is held up at the train station of a small town in Romania. The mayor, - welcome Mister Marshal, - decides to prepare a party for the American soldiers.
