This weekend the comedy by Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly will be released, which is being promoted in Spain because they have been dubbed by Santiago Segura and Florentino Fernández. Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) is a 39-year-old casual employee who lives with his mother, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen). Dale Doback (John C. Reilly) is a 40-year-old chronically unemployed man who lives with his father, Robert (Richard Jenkins). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live in the same house as stepbrothers. As their narcissism and utter laziness threaten to destroy the “new” family, these two well-grown, immature middle-aged children set in motion a delusional plan to get their respective parents back together. For it to work, they have to team up, and maybe, just maybe, it will work and finally get them out of the house.
For sure, thanks to the adolescent audience, this film will debut very well at the box office this weekend in Spain.
