"Born In The Echoes": The New From The Chemical Brothers Arrives

The Chemical Brothers

Waiting is over. Last Friday (July 17) the long-awaited new album by the Chemical Brothers: 'Born In The Echoes'. On this new work, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simmons did everything possible to keep their fans well pampered, taking care of us based on advances since last April. A first single with a video clip included ('Go') and three advances ('Sometimes I Feed So Deserted', 'Under Neon Lights' and 'EML Ritual') were able to cushion the wait until the official arrival of 'Born In The Echoes'.

This is how they describe the new Chemical Brothers album in the release press release: «'Born In The Echoes' is a magnificent 11-track collection of fine, machine-powered music. From chilling robotic funk to deranged and futuristic Freakbeat; from cold spectral manipulation to analog rhapsodic synthesis; From euphoric spiritual acid to ambient harmonic distortion, the album is the sound of some reinvigorated Chemical Brothers creating compositions that expand the mind like never before in his career if possible«.

It is always appreciated that, although there is no shortage of Chemicals who dive into their more psychedelic side, this time they have chosen to return to their more psychedelic side. "haggard", with themes that seem conceived to be the delight of any self-respecting after ('Reflection' is a real gem) and with a good dose of vocal collaborations of a tremendous quality.
